We had a wonderful 2-night stay at The Porcupine Inn. We arrived a little late in the evening and Fred was genuinely worried about us! We were grateful for him to greet and welcome us to his beautiful property.
Fred is kind, generous, knowledgeable, and also very conscientious. He gave us a lot of locals' insight and recommendations for activities and restaurants. He also prepares a killer breakfast! (photo)
The inn is quaint, cosy, and very homey. The decor is unique and interesting in every corner of every room. There's always something to look at!
There's also some great rainy day activities. There's a room with a pool table, an enclosed porch with board games, a deck/gazebo, and lots of seating to enjoy the stunning back yard view from wherever on the property.
The inn's location is prime. Walking distance to downtown Saranac.
There is parking.
Great value, especially with the breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.
