Lowe's Home Improvement

Went in to get fasteners for a baby changing table I'm making. I was looking for small connector in the shape of a figure 8 that allows you to fasten the wooden top to the frame. I went to the hardware desk and talked to 2 ladies and 1 gentleman who was the "pro" for hardware. The gentleman proceeded to baligerantly tell me that nothing like that exists and since he's installed cabinets before he knows what he's talking about. This would have cause a 1 star rating except for the two ladies. One brought me down the aisle to show another thing that could accomplish a similar result (which I purchased). The other checked online and found I was talking about a 'Knape & Vogt desktop fastener', she found what it was, a different (non Lowes) store that I could get it from, and even printed me out the information on it. She then appoligised for how the guy had handled it and was very empathetic. Thanks to these two ladies I will gladly recommend Lowe's to anyone!
