This time she had the basil steak and I had the emerald salmon. The waitresses we had both times were great, and willing to answer any questions we had about the food. We also had Tom yum and Tom kha soup, and they were both the best soups we had ever had. I love spicy food, so I ordered "Thai spicy" both times and it was an exillerating experience. The flavors were deep and complex, while the spiciness was high. If you don't care for spicy food, all of the dishes can be scaled to your liking. The restaurant is also BYOB, which we love. We can bring whatever suits our tastes, and don't have to pay inflated prices for wine or spirits. Thai elephants does not charge a corking fee.
