Daily Planet Coffee

This is such a great place. The coffee, food, and desserts are fantastic. They source a lot from other local businesses and are always finding ways to support local charities. With a music lesson studio attached, there are tons of great acts coming through all the time. It's got a really comfortable and inviting feel and has become an important part of the Hertel neighborhood growth.

Daily Planet is probably my favorite coffee hangout in town. A bit out of the way, located on Hertel getting closer to Main than Delaware, it's worth it the trip. My only complaint is the seating. Not horrible, but could be better. Otherwise, a great mug of coffee, service is painless, patient and quite friendly along with their affordable and exceptional snacks. I witnessed a mind blowing classical guitarist (live music!) a few sundays ago. Every Sunday is a classical guitarist which is better than some goon playing dave matthews covers by any stretch. A favorite hideout.
