I struggled with whether or not to write this review but I appreciate any info I can get when going some place new.
My hair was ruined (well . . . . a mess) after this one hairdresser cut it the first time. She was very nice but she turned me away from the mirror and cut it with a razor which I wasn't aware of right away. The cut wasn't like the picture I gave her but it was ok. When I washed it the next day my hair was FULL of breaks and splits and fly away away pieces. I was not happy. Next time I went back I was given to the same girl. I commented about the prior damage though I didn't tell her she did it. I told her I DID NOT want it cut with a razor. Again she turned me away from the mirror. Again the cut was ok. The 3rd time I again was given the same girl. Again, she turned me away from the mirror, argued a bit with the hairdresser next to her and cut my hair. It was way shorter than the picture I showed her and I asked her for a long layer, which she did not do. When I washed my hair after the cut, my hair which started to look better, was a real big mess again. First I thought maybe her tools were dull . . . then I thought about it. When she blow dried my hair she actually turned me around toward the mirror and I saw her do something strange to me. She turned the back side of the blow dryer toward the hair wrapped on the brush. She said it was to "set it". I am no hair dresser but I believe that is what chopped my hair up. There is nothing I can do now but wait till it grows back. I just wish I knew her name so when I sign in I can request NOT to be put with her.
So beware if someone uses the back side of the blow dryer when drying your hair.
Oh, and though some of the stylists I have had there in the past were better than others, I never had a bad experience till this one.
