I had a great experience with Dr Alberry at functional performance physical therapy. I had injured my knee almost 2 years ago and had several mri's taken with 3 different doctors telling me I just had IT band tightness. Well, streching my IT band with foam rollers and different techniques did nothing. I tried the graston technique with a different doctor which also failed. I was ready to just accept that I was not going to run again because I had gone to physical therapy in the past with little results.
I was recommended to Dr Alberry from a personal trainer at my gym. I was skeptical of course from poor past experiences. Well I figured I'd give him a chance to fix me because I really loved running. On the first session he explained what he thought the problem was after giving me a full range of motion exam from my toes up to my neck. He was the first person to say it was not an it band issue which made me even more nervous.
Well about a month later i'm already running 3 miles pain free with the streching routines I was taught at functional performance. I could not be happeir with the results and the speed of them. I'm back to doing what I love.
