I went to the store to pick up a phone. Rep asked for order info which I provided. He then stated that I needed to wait for sales reps to process my pick up request.
At this point I left because the rep stated that the wait time may be 10 minutes but that there was no guarantee.
I give the store a poor review because pick up service should be done in a timely fashion and second because the rep himself did not offer to process the pick up request. He obviously had time as he was dealing with me.
There was absolutely nobody else at the counter to assist. In fact, the counter was not staffed when I arrived.
AT&T really needs to look at this store and provide re-training especially for pick up service. The store supervisor or manager needs to take greater ownership of requests.
I recommend looking at Best Buy pick up service as a model.
