Premier Diner Commack

Premier Diner is always busy but certainly worth the wait!! My favorite go to Diner. The food menu is large. The food is exceptionally good. The portions are generous. The service is very good. The staff are attentive. My only complaint would be that its pricey. Today I had a Mexican salad and the price is $17.95. But again, the portion was so big I only ate about a quarter of the salad and the rest will be for another meal. Easily located right off the LIE.

Great food, but unfortunately we got the short straw with a waiter. We had to ask multiple times for everything, only to watch our "waiter" examine his pen instead of doing his job. Also, our table was cleared before we were done eating, and the bus boy actually threw away a dessert we purchased and didn't replace it. After asking three times for our check, we tipped according to the service we received. Apparently it wasn't enough for our sorry excuse of a waiter. He came back to the table with the change, which was his tip, and told us we should be tipping him way more. Never in my life have I ever heard anything like this. I'm sorry, but a tip isn't mandatory. If he wanted a good tip, he should have provided good service.
