The Poultry Hatchery

We've purchased chicks in the past and had okay results. Last spring we lost more than 10% of our cornish chicks with in the first few days. We picked up turkeys and were happy with those. We decided to get some Faverolles, a docile rare breed, for the kids to raise. We picked up our order in store. I noticed one was sluggish and saw she had a deformed foot, she died with in an hour of being home. There was a second chick who had a prolapsed vent. She was touch and go for about a week but managed to get her vent to retract. They were contacted about the problem, twice, and we haven't received any response. The turkey order is the only reason they have 2 stars.
