The Captain's Room

My Fiance and I stopped for a quick bite on the first day that we were moving from Geneva to Canandaigua. we were seated at the bar, as the restaurant was very busy and we wanted to get in and out quickly. The bar was a little messy, so the waitress immediately came over and wiped it down. Everyone who was dining seemed very happy. I did not hear any complaints. Everyone was taken care of in a timely fashion. The owner came over to check on us after we got our food, and she was so sweet. They have amazing specials, homemade breads that can be made into toast or eaten as is, and a decent-sized menu of every day offerings for both breakfast and lunch. The restaurants Facebook page is updated with weekly special so you can keep track of what they have going on. It really is a nice little place to stop into. It is handicap-accessible, there is vegan and vegetarian options, and also outdoor seating during the summer. The coffee is great! You can't ask for much more. I also forgot to mention that it is very affordable.
