DO NOT GO TO THIS VERIZON STORE *2290 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo, NY* It is not corporate so they do not have to follow the same rules. Their employee (Chris) lied to us about almost every decision we made in that store last Tuesday. When I tried to go in Thursday and pick up the phone I ordered I was told by the first employee they didn't feel like checking it in until tomorrow. Then I was told by the manager, Josh, that corporate had to check it in so they couldn't even sell it to me. When I said that didn't make sense the manager started talking over me and ultimately returned my new phone right in front of me and threatened to call the police when I tried to get my boyfriend's old UNWIPED phone back. I have never been treated so poorly by a customer service or sales rep in my life. They shouldn't have even still had his old phone as it had been 2 days since we purchased his new one and they are required to send it in to the warehouse next-day. We think they not only went into that phone, but were planning on refurbishing it to sell AFTER IT HAD BEEN DROPPED IN A TOILET. But wait! It gets even fishier! I was told I wasn't allowed to pay cash. I had to use a debit card specifically to make sure we weren't buying discounted phones and reselling them. Then I discovered charges on my account I didn't approve. There are too many other issues to list, but my recommendation is to go to the location up the road that looks much more professional online.
