Crosman Seed Corporation

Established in 1838 and still going - that is something to boast about! As a customer it's cool that here in Monroe County we can "shop local" for our seeds: online, from various retailers, or drive there and buy them in person. An additional benefit is that since they completely own their property, their prices are excellent - $0.99 a packet! Going to the business is a step into true retro, just like their seed packets. During seed season you can see people filling packets (some who might not readily find employment elsewhere, which is laudable), there are bags of specialty grass seed stacked about, and in the right corner are the racks of seeds. Just pick them out, whip out your preferred method of payment, and for a surprisingly small amount you are on your way to your garden. A delightful little secret that should be better known!
