Allstate Insurance Agent: Scott Ziccarelli

We chose this agent because they were the closest. When we moved to Brighton we started having problems with the office. For example, when I got in an accident they told me to call the 1800 number. How is that for personal service? When my husband and I combined our auto policies they didn't delete mine so I kept paying for it- until I realized it and told them to give me a refund. When someone hit my car the receptionist told me I would have to pay for the damages because they were less than my deductible- neglecting the fact that we have a reduction in our deductible as well as the NY state law saying if you are not at fault your deductible is WAIVED. She did not explain any of this to me or tell me how to proceed getting money from the other driver's policy. Plus, they screwed up adding photos of a new car and revoked our collision insurance because of it. Their customer service is lousy and you are better off finding a place where you will talk to an AGENT. I have never talked to Ziccarelli in 4 years. Do not take any advice from someone on the phone unless they are an agent.
