This is the NYC equivalent to a roadside motel. It looks like a converted halfway house. The rooms are literally the size of a prison cell and you have to turn sideways to get between the bed and the wall to the bathroom.
You hear EVERYTHING. From guys next door saying out loud what I was thinking about the room to the people on the street wondering where the ax-throwing place is (I was on the top floor).
You have to slam the door in order to close it behind you so you'll be awakened at least 3 times by people coming back to their rooms then you can listen to them complaining about said room.
If you want an efficiently small room, go to the Pod. They do efficient comfort right.
