The 1850 House Inn

After booking a one-night stay and not reading on their policy page that children under 12 are not allowed, we showed up with our 4 year old and 10 month old. Well, the owner/operator could not have been any nicer. She went out of her way to make sure our children and our room were comfortable. She even found a high chair for our breakfast.....above and beyond!!! Not to mention the breakfast she cooked was out of this world delicious.....hands down, best I’ve ever eaten at a BNB. And free bottle of champagne on our arrival. You cannot beat this place!!!!!

1/6/17: I had a wonderful 2-night stay here at the Inn. The photos online don't do it justice, as the attention to detail was astounding. I enjoyed the rustic old look coupled with the modern and up to date accommodations. Coming during the wintertime and mid-week was an interesting experience, as the low traffic offered a very quiet and intimate atmosphere to spend in this B&B. The room I was in was fantastic and the bed and pillows were so comfortable.The staff I met, Jimmy, Debra, and John were attentive and very friendly! I really had no problems with my stay. Last but not least, the breakfast both days was so delicious and the presentation didn't disappoint. It is a beautiful place and I would go again.
