Purdy's Farmer & the Fish

Good, but not great. Some identity crisis about the food: cake-like sweet bread for starting? Innovative fish tacos that just don't make sensory sense? Great looking fried chicken with no taste/salt? Gummy mashed potatoes on the side? Also eggyolks in the coleslaw? We love novel cuisine, but it should somehow come together. The vibe is good though, service very attentive, and the food still quite ediblle.
