Such an amazing place! And the history of this area's existence is even more amazing! Apparently, from what I've read, this type of area only exists along shorelines with the exception of a small handful, and this is one of them! The trails are nice and clear. The smell in the air is piney and refreshing. It's worth taking some time out to walk the simple/easy short hikes. The trailhead is on Hogsback Rd. and has a nice parking little parking lot with easy trail access.
Check this area out on a nice warm day for the best experience.
(I'm a bit bias being an outdoorsy person myself.)
